The Collector's Advice
This site was first developed because of my affinity to rare collectibles
and because I soon gained the desire to kick the asses of all those ebay-salesmen
who treated my precious treasures inappropriate. If one buys himself a GBA
SP pearl white in the limited final Fantasy Tactics Advance package (for some
222 Euro), which is certainly one of the rarest commercial Game Boys at all,
on could possibly expect everything to be in good condition. In fact one could
go quite mad if an idiot with the fine feeling of a mule added several tears
into the package when opening it.
Beyond that it may be called fraud when a buyer pays the shipping costs for
a big package and afterwards finds his sealed Velociraptor (from the relatively
rare Dinosaur-series of the Jurassic Park toys) only wrapped in some sheets
of thin paper. Instead I could have bought a used raptor, that would have
been 25 Euro cheaper but looked pretty the same.
So if any of you ever gets to sell a "mint condition" item, better
ensure that it does not get messed up during your check on completeness and
arrives undamaged at your costumer.
